About GJOYful Bears:

GJOYful Bears are originally designed & hand-made Artist Bears by Bear Artists Gabriele Joy and Robyn Kaye. We create bears, animals, fairies, dragons and many other creatures for our collections from our bear studio in Australia.  

GJOYful Bears consists of Collections and Ranges of bears and animals. These collections and ranges are grouped for your convenience so you can choose a bear or animal that will suit your budget. Bear Artist Robyn Kaye has been designing & making bears for 12 years, and Bear Artist Gabriele Joy has been designing and making bears for 3 and a half years. We sell our bears through our website, blog & through attending bear & doll shows, and you can also find our bears on Bear Pile. Our bears are designed to bring joy to their new mums and dads.

Our bears are not suitable for children under 14 years of age. GJOYful Bears are not "teddy bears" or playthings, they are Artist Bears created using techniques and parts that may be dangerous for young children.

GJOYful Bears feature techniques such as scissor & needle-sculpting, needle-felting, air-brushing, hand shading, hand-made accessories, soft sculpture & many other techniques to create the most endearing & adorable bears for the discerning collector & adult bear lovers.

Our aim is to ensure our bears are available to everyone who loves them, and we use all kinds of materials to achieve this. Synthetic bears are generally the most affordable of our bears, mohair bears are generally quite expensive, alpaca fur bears & our genuine recycled fur bears are the most expensive, and also the most popular. We only use the best materials when making our bears including designer plush furs, Tissavel faux fur, German Schulte Mohair, Alpaca, Mini-Bear Fabric, suede, leather, and carefully chosen genuine furs.

 Every bear you see on our website (excluding bears picture on the "links" page) is completely and originally designed and hand-sewn (rarely do we machine sew) by GJOYful Bears and is copyrighted by us.

When you adopt a GJOYful Bear, you will be receiving the bear you saw in the photo gallery for that bear. We do not mass-produce our bears, most are OOAK (one of a kind) or L/E (limited editions). The bear you see is always the bear you will receive.

All bears come beautifully packaged & with their own tags informing you all about the bear you have adopted, and all the features of the bear. Custom made bears come with their own adoption certificates too.
